Installing DJM250 drivers on laptop
Hi there
Cannot get the drivers for my DJM250 to install on my laptop. Cannot get the two to connect.
Running Windows 7.
Have downloaded and subscribed to Rekordbox. Have followed all the installation instructions.
Have followed threads on forums with people who seemed to have the same issue, but cannot get the driver to install. One thread suggested installing the driver as an Adminstrator but that doesn't seem to work.
When I try to install it comes up with message that is has failed and says "Error 002".
Help? Reckon I have tried everything

I have successfully upgraded the laptop to Windows 10 but getting the same result when I try to connect the driver for the DJM 250. Message says "Installation failed. (002)"
Any help gratefully accepted!

Are you trying to install the drivers with the USB cable connected to the mixer?
Or do you possibly not have administrative privileges on that computer?

I do have administrative privileges.
And I disconnect the USB cable before I run the .exe file

Any suggestions? Could there be some limitation of my laptop specs that is stopping the installation of the software, and the mixer and laptop not talking to eachother???

I have the same issue. Windows 11 laptop, get the same "Installation failed. (002) error....
