DDJ SX 3- Microphone lines 1 & 4 distortion

Just got the DDJ SX 3 and problems with distortion sound using the mic channels on line 1 & 4.

I'm using a Shure QLXD and also tried my Sennheiser.
The mic gain is set to -16DB and Mic offset is zero.

Using XLR to XLR and the controller is set to "MIC"

FYI- I have both the DDJ SX 1 and 2 and never had this problem. using the EXACT SAME microphones.   I just re-test on the SX 2 and no issue.

Any thoughts?
