Allow iPad app to also pick location of library

on the Droid app you can choose the location of the library in the settings if you use a usb drive or SD for the storage, Can this be added to the iphone app being if you jailbreak it, you can also access var/mnt/ where the flash drive would be mounted?

I am not sure if they would add support based on a Jailbroken device, but figured i would ask being they still have not added the option to search a drive plugged into a Nexus, this could be a workaround for the time being or is the RB app just dead in the water at this point being it hasn't seen an update or improvement in 6 months?
