Can i use an DDJ-XP1 without a laptop?
Hi!
I'll explain my situation
I'm currently user of an DDJ-400 (Awesome btw)
In the near fuure i'm thinking to upgrade my whole system, buying a pair of XDJ-1000MK2 and DJM 750MK2.
Now here is where i get a little confused, the thing is that i want to buy xdj-1000mk2's because of the much lower price comparing to the CDJ-2000 series BUT i want to keep some features that i actually use in my ddj controller such as Hot Cues or Beatjump for example, that's why i want to add to the setup an DDJ-XP1 and here is where my question gets in
Can i use the DDJ-XP1 without a laptop? i mean if i have all my tunes analyzed by rekordbox, export them to an usb an plug this one to my xdj's can i access my hot cue points o will i be able to use beatjump with the xp1?
Basically i want to use the XP1 as a complement for the xdj's to have controller features but i want to do this without using a laptop anymore.

yes it should work from what I have seen, USB/SD card in one XDJ for music and the XP1 plugged into the other USB port on the second XDJ.
Have a look at the DJ City review on You Tube of the XDJmk2, they do this but with an older SP1 so an XP1 should be no different
