Challenge connecting to Recordbox on Iphone or Ipad

Hi been having numerous challenges getting the iphone to connect as a device in recordbox dj, current version.

I click the connect button on both devices, on the pc, recordbox dj finds the correct device, i click "yes" to connect, and then nothing happens, it just hangs and i need to force close the process.

I've tried 2 different ios devices, i've reformatted my pc and only installed recordbox dj, i've tried two wireless routers, i'm disabled the windows firewall completely. 

Any help would be appreciated.
