DDJ SX3 won’t connect to laptop/Serato - tried everything.

Hello, I’m brand new and got a DDJ SX3 a month ago. Suddenly it won’t connect to Serato. Here’s what I’ve done so far. 1. Made sure laptop is set on input and output for the speaker and microphone in “sound” 2. Tried a different USB port 3. Update controller driver 4. Update Windows 5. Ensure latest version of Serato is installed 6. Tried to update Controller driver - this keeps saying “installation failed.” 7. Tried using external monitors and laptop speakers. Nothing works. This is EXTREMELY frustrating as a beginner. Is there some sort of customer service I can get to help? Serato is emailing me back and forth with troubleshooting suggestions, with one new suggestion that doesn’t work about every 48 hours. I’m even willing to pay for someone to help. This is extremely daunting and demoralizing for someone just getting started. Thanks.
