Pioneer DJM 400 master out problem

hi everybody,

I have just bought a Pioneer djm 400 mixer. Its a second hand mixer, but in quite good condition. Everything works fine except the master outputs.

The problem: When i connect speakers to the master outs there is no sound in the left channel. I dont know why. I set and switched every possible buttons, and tried an another RCA cable, and the other output, but the problem is the same. There is no sound in one of the channels. I tried to connect to a speaker, and compuret too.

The mixer looks like a new, and the connectors dont seem damaged. Every button, fader, effect works and sounds perfect when i use my headphones. The level indicator shows left and right master levels, but i can hear only 1 channel in my speaker.

I hope somebody can help me!

(Few months earlier somebody had the same problem with this mixer and it has solved, but i dont know the solution :(

Thanks in advance!

got to fix it? I have the same problem...

Hi,

I could fix it but had to take it to a Pioneer specialist. So you cant repair it at home... :(((

They had to replace a whole unit inside of the mixer. I took a lots of time and money. Basically i paid the half price of this mixer for this repair...

This was my worst experience with Pioneer dj gears... and after i got it repaired i sold this DJM 400.

At the moment i have a Pioneer XDJ Aero, so i still prefer Pioneer stuffs over any other brands. They worth the money, but sometimes you have to pay a lot if they go wrong.

Hope you can fix it more easy than i did.

Good luck!
