Stuck - Fresh install not working of 1.5

Hi there

Ive noticed this crashing is common however - i cannot even get started.

Ive just got my CDJ2000's and would like to get my library all sync'd up properly but after installing 1.4 - updating to 1.5 and running the program - it simply crashes instantly.

I did manage to get into it to import tracks and then it crashed.

Im running Windows XP with all the latest updates, 2GB RAM and a 3GHz processor - large HDD and no USB devices plugged in except a keyboard/mouse.

Am i better to revert to 1.4?

PPS - I re installed v 1.4.1 and have the same issue which concludes to me a system issue can you assist?

You answered "No" to question 1 -- go back to that thread, read it and try the suggestions therein.

Hi Pulse - ive had a good read through now - last night - far too much excitment to be reading such things lol

I've noticed i dont have SP3 installed so i shall give that a shot to see if it helps.

I would also like to add after more playing about last night...

I managed to load 4 or 5 tracks in by dragging and dropping them into the library pane. However dragging 20+ or using 'import folder' crashed instantly.

I dont know if this is helpful with regard to finding a root issue but to me seems like a issue with how it batches files for processing somewhere along the line.

This was using 1.5
