DDJ 1000 SRT jog wheel latency issue

I just got a brand new DDJ 1000 SRT, and I'm really happy with that. I have always used turntables so I'm not so familiar with mechanical jog wheels. I noticed a lag in the precision and latency between Jog wheel and Serato. I mean, when I move the jog wheel very very slowly (in vinyl mode) there's a lag between the platter movement and what I see on the screen. So it's like the platter movement doesn't match exactly with the software audio file. I tried to adjust the latency in the software but I see no changes. Is there any way to reset manually the jog wheel like you can do in Rekordbox? I understand that it works like that. Any help, any suggestions? Thank you
