Open Key notation for the CDJ-2000 nexus
Hello,
As I understand, there was a request earlier to have the standard notation converted to the MiK Camelot key system, but this was not possible due to legal issues.
Just an idea, would it be possible to have the open key system instead?

It's an open source version of the Camelot system, meaning it's free to implement, and it's just as easy to use as Camelot.

Good idea. Also Traktor uses the open key system
You don't need to use the Camelot system, you can put whatever data you want into the key field.
From what I see in rb the notation used by default is the standard musical notation.
Will the CDJ nexus traffic light system work also if I use the open key notation in rekordbox?
Not entirely sure, haven't tried it.
