RB 4.05 doesn't recognize new playlists from iTunes 12.3.2
I just have a new macbook pro with Yosemite (I didn't upgrade to Capitan because I read of the many problems) and did a successful content migration from my old to my new mac book. I went from RB 2.2.4 from my old macbook to RB 4.05 on my new macbook. I read about problems with iTunes 12.2 so I upgraded to iTunes 12.3.2 All the music files in RB 4.05 are working fine.
I added new music in my iTunes and made a new playlist. In RB the new playlist does not appear in the sync manager and neither in the RB iTunes explorer/bridge. I clicked many times on the refresh button and restarted the programs and my computer, but without success. Could somebody help me to solve this issue?
For several reasons I want to use iTunes on my computer and I don't want to duplicate my music on my laptop.

You might be hitting a bug where Apple has renamed and/or deactivated an important XML file that Rekordbox relies on.
See this link: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201610
Follow the section titled About the iTunes Library.xml file
Finally, I believe there is a setting in Rekordbox where you can select your iTunes Library.xml file and I think I recall an issue where Apple recently renamed that file. So use Rekordbox and make sure to select the correct iTunes XML file - restart RB and try it all over again.
Good luck!
Thank you very much!
Indeed the wrong library was selected in Rekordbox (preferences/advanced).
iTunes Music Library.xml instead of iTunes Library.xml
Tricky to depend on two different software developers....
But for now I'm happy, thanks again!
