SDHC CARD QUESTION
Hello, hope all of you are doing well.
Two questions Does anyone know if the CDJ 2000 have any compatibility problems with Sandisk Extreme SDHC cards ?
Also does it matter the data through put of the SD cards. Does the CDJ 2000 stream the music off the media card itself or does it load it into the player's memory. I asked a couple of dj and no one could explain the process for me. I just want to make sure i'm not over spending on high data throughput cards if it not going to really improve the performance. Thanks in advance for your guidance. Best Regards DJ Paradise N.Y / Miami

Its a good question what are the best and 100% worked 32 Gb Sdhc cards
okay what sdhc card worked 100% with the cdj 2000?I buy now 2 cdj 2000 :D
please tell me an brand name big thx to all users
I've been using the SanDisk Ultra (Class 4) and the Standard SDHC Blue (also class 4) cards with no isssues... other than losing a couple at recetn gigs.
The claim to be class 4 is apparently not verified by any independent sources, but they all work- the "Ultra" is about $30 more than the standard SDHC cards but to be honest they work exactly the same.
The ultimate test was to load 1 wav file on all 3 of my CDJ2000 and use the needle search on two of them at the same time, not one drop or fall out from the card.
So there's no point of spending extra cash on getting an SD card that's higher than Class 4- the extreme is really for photographers that are snapping pictures and saving data on the card at high speed.
read more about the class ranking system here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital
maDJam has said it all!
And to parrot what he already stated: _". . . __the extreme is really for photographers that are snapping pictures and saving data on the card at high speed." _ I use both Sundisk Extreme 8GB and Lexar 32GB 133x Speed (Class 10) SDHC cards - *but* that doubles as my repository back-up for pictures & video. Other than that, why waste money? Use it for music tracks instead!
Thank you all for your support. I appreciate your time and guidance and always wish continued success to all involved..

Okay and which manufacturer works 100% with the cdj 2000? I need 32 Gb cards and i buy now 2 new cdj 2000 :D
Greets from Austria
Man, you are asking a lot. I don't think anybody, with a right mind, can give you what you want!
As the saying goes "there is no guarantee in life" hence, what will work now, may not work tomorrow. Why not just find what is reliable and available in your parts of the country. Most of all, buy it from a reputable dealer where you can have it returned/exchange if it does not 'deliver as advertised'
Good Luck!
Oh sorry Man i forgot thats not a Pioneer Forum.....
Finally, I buy two cdj 2000 to € 3600 as well the question should be inside
sorry
And sorry too if I came on strong. That was just my opinion and I am not employed by Pioneer.
