Does anyone obtain or knows where i can get (or buy) any pair of hdj 2000  that the body is ok? mine have a cutted wire in the middle of the plastic under the pioneer logo (as a result only one side has sound) and as i've been told (here in greece) from where i've bought them can't be fixed neither by him or the company!? and my ultimate solution is to find another body (to buy if it's worth the prize) and change it....i thought i had found but i got cheated...agrrrrrr...

 

OR IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX IT?!

guys i've tried but no luck... i'got no response from intersys ... and unfortunately i'm out of warranty... so what can i do?!

@vicrep > Intersys is the Pioneer delaer for greece so they sure are from there as the store where i got the hdj gets supplies from official dealers!!! and i waited one month to get them!!!

@Arthouros > Pioneer (proper) can fix almost anything, even out of warranty (but then it will cost you).  I'd contact Pioneer Europe to see what they have to say (links are on the right).

Even if you would find a body of the HDJ, you don't want to exchange that part yourself. I've tried but you need watchmakers tools to get the hinges back together. You Pioneer service will be able to replace the headband, but this might set you back just a little less than a new one...

Hi all.
I also have this sort of 'bent' on my HDJ's 2000 under Pioneer logo but my sound is ok. Does this bent mean that the wire will be damaged in time?

@ S B > mine pair maybe was by default a factroy failure ..and the problem was after a year... and as i know by searches i've done i'm the one to have this sort of problem... a friend of mine got his pair and in the first day he went to play , when wearing the headphones they cutted in half!!?!?!?#?!?# ...het got them changed under warranty as a failure of product!!! what can i say...

@ lead > finally i managed to find a way to communicate to official pioneer service .... but as u said the part cost at least 150 eyros.... !#@!#

you could easily replace that wire yourself and if it's out of warrenty have a crack at it, its half broke anyhow

only i knew how to do that.!!!..as i have no idea for electronics and stuff like that, i don't want to damage it totally...i have found a guy that said to me he can fix it by cutting the headphones in the middle ... so will send them to him and god help us..haha...anyone know if i can find any schematics from hdj 2000 to see how they are built?!

No, blown-apart schematics are generally not available.

cause intersys (greece) sucks...u can ask everyone having an issue with pioneer stuff!!!

I have the same problem and i live at Greece too, i contact to the pioneer service in my hometown and they saw the headphones and ordered the cable from Intersys S.A.

BUT when they ordered it the headphones had warranty but now almost 10 months past  and im off warranty and  Intersys S.A. didnt send the spare part they say that Pionner EU dont send it to them.

Anyone here that can help me?

BTW there is a Greek law that says that if a service cannot fix your problem within 90days then they have to replace it with a new one

@Jorge > I would suggest you contact and remind Intersys ASAP about the spare part. See when they will have it and if they can send it to you. Let me know how you get on and if there are any further issues I've a direct line to Intersys.

Thanks for the quick reply Gavin, i gave them today back to the service in my hometown, before i read your reply. I will call them 1st thing in the morning and i will tell them to speak with Intersys to find out what happened with the spare part.

When i will have more news i will post them here.
