Surface Pro Vs Surface Laptop 3

I have been using a Surface Pro 4 with bad results (crackling and blips, especially when recording), I have tried all the tips and techniques on the forum but it still doesn’t run smoothly. I’m looking to upgrade to their laptop device (Surface Laptop 3), will I run into the same problems? I was happy recording with Audacity but now I want to use Rekordbox 6 so I’ll have record internally. The quality compared to Audacity is so noticeable I can’t post the mixes online. Should I get the Surface Laptop 3? Any help or feedback is appreciated.
