Right hand platter xdj xz catching/ grinding

Hi . The right hand platter on my xdj xz seems to catch at certain points almost to the point of sticking when nudging and makes a rubbing noise as if is rubbing/grinding on the casing if I manually move the platter 360 degrees and again seems to catch and almost stop . Please can you advise if this is a warranty issue . I have had the unit longer than 30 days but is well within the year warranty . Thanks Mike
