Rekord box not displaying Soundwave at the top of screen whilst playing track?

hey guys just installed rekordbox on my new laptop, everything works fine but... there is 2 soundwaves in rekordbox which should be displayed when playing a track,

1.the close up view sound wave

2. the top sound wave which displays the "whole" track

In my rekorbox the top soundwave does not get siplayed and just shows a flat line.this happens with all of my music and it happens on my cj2000's

ive tried uninstalling and installingrekordbox and it does not fix the problem, i have the latest rekordbox and it works fine on my other computer

its just my new laptop and cdjs using this rekordbox wont display

running windows 7. please help :)
