[SOLVED] CDJ-900 Jog Wheel Outer ring grabs when pitch bending.
Hey Guys!
My 900's are periodically acting up when I'm pitch bending. I'll be making a pitch up bend, and all of a sudden, it just grabs the audio. This sucks.
I have 8 players, but it only does it on 2 of them. I have never updated the firmware on these, as i was told by the guys in the booth In Atlantic city that if it was not broken, there was no real need to "fix it"
I seriously doubt that firmware would have anything to do with this, but I figured I'd ask. The rings are smooth, no grit in there. I've blown them out with my compressor, but never tried to clean or lube them. is there a way to lube them? Like can I use a little squirt of cailube or something? I'm a jedi when it comes to taking apart and rebuilding these, so i'm not afraid to get inside if necessary.
Any suggestions? It really stresses me out when i use this set, because i never know If or when it's going to break bad on me.
Thanks!
