DDJ SR - Uncontrollable tempo Slowdown

Once while performing a live set and now twice at home, my DDJ SR unit randomly starts slowing the tempo on my Deck 2. It just keeps dropping until it goes to 0. I took a video of it happening with my phone and can share if that is helpful. Luckily live I was able to switch to deck 4 and finish my set and I thought it was a one time thing but now it has happened twice in the same day. I believe it it a pioneer issue and not serato because when I reset the controller it started working again on deck 2. Has anyone had this happen? Is there a way to fix this?

Have had this myself with my DDJ-SX2. It was with SYNC enabled and during some scratching, somehow it thought the master deck tempo was set to 0. Very frustrating. I had to quickly change master deck move my fader all the way up (to 0%) and then back to middle (100% pitch).

I haven't had this recently, but I also haven't been using sync recently too. Not sure if Pioneer is looking at this..

I actually figured out the issue. On my laptop there is a mute button which is right above the + key which I use a lot to adjust the size of the wave form. If you push the mute button on accident it slows deck 2 down to zero. I haven't figured out how to stop it after it Happens but at least I know now how to prevent it. I wasn't using sync in any of my 3 cases so your issue may be different than mine.

I have had this happen on my DDJ-RZ. Have informed Pioneer but no solution as yet!!
