Hot cues not working as expected...

Hey everyone!

So I'm starting to practice DJing more and more, and I initially tried Serato with the DDJ-SB2. I wasn't feeling the layout of Serato, so I switched to RB.

Recently, I played a gig and I felt really confident about my setlist and everything, so I decided to consolidate space on stage by using my friend's controller/laptop (DDJ-SX3 with RB) that was already hooked up. I was bombing for the first few songs, not because of a lack of practice, rather because hot cues somehow work differently on my controller, and I don't understand how or why.

I found out mid-set that hot cues are supposed to trigger, but NOT continue playback when you stop holding the button, and that you have to press play/pause as you're holding the hot cue button. My SB2 does not do this, instead if I press a hot cue, it just plays from that point and I don't need to press play/pause.

How do I fix this behaviour?

Thanks!

-Sam
