How to tab between fields in file browser to enter/modify tag data?

I have a lot of tracks I need to edit tag data in the file browser and move easily between Title, Artist, Genre, etc fields.  Like a spreadsheet, i'm expecting to be able to to TAB between the fields, but it doesn't work.  I have to manually click into each field to edit it.  Surely there is a keyboard combination to move between the fields without having to use the mouse?   I've searched but can't find... am i missing something obvious!?
