How can I get more hot cues on the CDJ 2000 Nexus?
Hi! So, I recently bought a pair of CDJ 2000 NXS and a DJM 900 SRT.
I bought them because I don't like using a laptop when I DJ; I prefer just plugging in a USB.
Anyway, the CDJs only have three cue points and I'd prefer to have more. I was wondering if it was possible to buy something like the Pionner DDJ XP1 and using it with the CDJs to be able to use more cue points.
Would the XP1 work with the CDJ 2000 NXS? Would it work without the laptop, if I just have a USB with rekordboxx-analyzed files plugged in? If not, is there a device that will do that?

No - the DDJ-XP1 is only compatible with the CDJ-2000NXS2, XDJ-1000MK2, and CDJ-TOUR1
If you are using rekordbox with a USB connected, you would be playing through rekordbox, not the CDJ - and there you could use the XP1 to control up to 16 hot cues.
Ok cool so if I just use a USB with rekordbox analyzed files (with no laptop) the DDJ XP1 will work with it? In that case I'll buy one thanks

The XP1 is not compatible with the CDJ-2000NXS, only the models listed above.
