Rekordbox Database location on High Sierra different?
Hey guys,
i have a little problem with my rekordbox database on mac OS High Sierra. It seems like the default location has changed there.
My old MBP with Sierra has the database on "/Volumes/Macintosh HD2/.PIONEER", which is hidden. Also my iMac mini on Sierra has this location.
On my new MBP with High Sierra i first started up rekordbox to build a default database, which was created in "/Volumes/Macintosh HD2/PIONEER" - so it isn't hidden. I thought i wouldn't be a problem, but it is - a very huge. After I moved the database from my old to my new MBP, all files were found, but there are not analyzed, even the tags are gone.
What can I do now to not analyze all the tracks over and over again? I'm synching the rekordbox database to my own cloud, so i can use it on every machine without an external device.

No, the default location is:
~/Users/yourusername/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox
Or for the full path,
/yourharddrivename/Users/yourusername/Library/Pioneer/rekordbox
If you are using the database externally, then it would mount differently, and rekordbox can be told to look in that location, but as you're doing something a bit custom, you may need to edit the settings file. See my article on cloud database storage here.
no one? :(
