The trick when you make 1 bar loop then holding the out button and turn the jog wheel counterclockwise. To make the loop tighter and tighter. However it doesn’t work on ddj1000. When I do it, it just reverse the loop, it won’t make it tighter.

The DDJ-1000 doesn't have that functionality.
How come ddj400 have this functionality but ddj1000 doesn’t.
On reddit sb said it should work with shift+ out button, but that's really cumbersome
Sorry -- what I meant was it doesn't have the ability to hold just the OUT button and do that, in order to adjust the out point, you have to hold the OUT and SHIFT at the same time (which is indicated by the white background label below the button - "OUT ADJUST / RELOOP").
