Using the DDJ-Ergo as a soundcard

Hi, I'm planning on buying the m-audio fast track pro external soundcard so I'm able to plug my guitar into the computer, but I own the DDJ-ergo and I have been wondering if I could use it like that, plugging the guitar into the mic plug. And using programs like guitar rig or amplitube, does anyone know if it's possible? I did the connection trying with guitar rig and it does detect the sound as I see in the volume bar but I dont get to hear anything.
