rekordbox 5 not saving history from usb

So I hope people can help me with this cause it seems that Rekordbox is starting to piss me off.

When I have my desktop, where the main database is located, export certain playlists that I prepared for a live set I can play them just fine.
But when I get back to my desktop there is no history at all.
Nothing.

The issue is mainly because.
-The mac version of Rekordbox does not want me to use a netwerk drive for the main database.
That is what I wanted at first.
-Rekordbox is not liking me constantly ejecting and inserting the main database through an external hdd.
And when I export all works fine until I have to give a tracklist to someone from my set.

Can anyone explain to me why with rekordbox exported usb devices there is no history?

It is annoying as F and it really is making me consider moving so something completely different.
The whole of Rekordbox seems to not want me to have a nice workflow at all.
