XDJ Aero is an awesome device
Hello,
I would like to comment on the almost unlimited potential of the XDJ Aero. One year ago, I purchased a pair of CDJ 2000 Nexus players. I loved them as them eliminated the need for the use of a laptop and I focused more on the music. I later found the wifi option to be a bit cumbersome as a router is required for wireless capability. The XDJ Aero did not intrigue me initially, as I was initially wowed by controllers from other manufacturers until I owed a DDJ SX and XDJ R-1. Even though the R-1 has hot Cues and a truly awesome experience in Remote Box. The Aero's wireless capability set it apart. My lap top is truly a "record box", However I generally used the iPhone to download tracks from iCloud containing strange request.
My only product request would be a moving needles, hot cues, or wave form; which ever is the cheapest to manufacture while providing a good price. The enclosed mix was recorded using the Aero' s record function. Thank you for your consideration. Just thought all should know the XDJ Aero was a home run.
R/S,

There are (were?) a number of folks (myself included) who would appreciate this device but only after adding the features you mentioned. I don't need needle search, but it is handy. Manually selecting cue points, and a track profile display that shows them along with the hot cue points set in rekordbox is a requirement for me. My preference is that they are shown on the device, but bouncing that control or data to a smartphone or pad would work (so long as those things are not in the signal chain.)
None of these items are new requests, btw... we are still waiting.
