DDJ RZ Headphone Out Problem. No Sound.

Hi all, new guy here with a bit of a problem with a used DDJ RZ I've recently bought.

I've installed Rekordbox, set the  RZ up, installed the neccessary drivers and updated its firmware but I can't get any sound from the headphone jacks at the front.

Tried all of the cue buttons, master out cue, volume controls, read through some previous troubleshoots but still nothing.

I'm using a late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina with Mojave iOS. It might be worth adding, I've not actually rigged any speakers up ti the actually controller yet. I'm basically using the Mac's soudcard. Surely this isn't the issue?

Also, I'm not getting the master out LED's lighting up during play?

Can someone please help before I bin this controller and cry uncontrollably. I'll reward woith beer tokens. :)
