[SOLVED] XDJ-R1 - Volume jump problem

Yesterday I worked with my 1-month old xdj-r1. Suddenly i got a volume jump on ch1 for few seconds, something like an extra-bass that came from nowhere. The limiter on ch1 raise to the top (red) and i thought its my mp3 file, but when i played it again everything was normal. An hour later i played a song that i played a lot of times before and got the same problem!

I'm afraid my device goes crazy :/ That's a nearly new device and i keep it like a baby.

The problem appeared twice, both of them on ch1. The device was connected with remotebox but i didn't touch it, and it was on 'USB BROWSE' anyway.

All of my songs are mp3 320 and came from rekordbox. All updated (r1, rekordbox, remotebox).

Other things:

1) When you use effect like filter on remotebox, when you turn it off and later push 'filter' on the r-1 it works even if the circular button is on the middle.

2) In remotebox you can't use the bottom playlist or the bottom song in the list. Very annoying.

3) In rekordbox if you delete some playlist and then sync with usb, the deleted playlist still remain on usb. You can only delete them from the remotebox.

English is not my native language, sorry if there are problems.

It happened again, on ch1. It sounds like the trim been amplified suddenly.

Other thing:

When i play sets (long mp3 files) the device stuck often if i use the search option (shift+jog). It requires a restart, and it is very embarrassing when working.

I know it's a new unit, but that doesn't mean the firmware is up to date, please check and make sure that you have the latest version of the firmware.

@Yaki > There could certainly be an issue with the R1 itself - please contact Pioneer technical support to have the unit inspected / serviced. Links are located to the right.
