CHECK INTERNET CONECTION ENVIRONMENT

Error prompts when trying to update from  v5.8.4 to v5.8.5. Mac OSX. 

I have  tried steps the following steps from other form posts. 

1. Internet connection working fine (wireless only)

2. disabled firewall 

3. downloaded .nxs file from Kuvo

4. <confused about this step because I read 2 different bits of info from other threads>

1. "When you open rekordbox you can select that file to open the software" - it doesnt let me launch rekordbox from this file (option is greyed out when I try  'open with' function)
2. "On the login window of rekordbox when it is launched, click ”You are not connected to the internet” and select the downloaded djprofile.nxs file." - I can log into rekordbox fine but not seeing this place to click.

Can someone pls help me figure out this update?
