Three months old and cross fader bleeding! What t....??

I just bought this DDJ1000..  it's never seen the outside of my house.  No gigs yet..  Now just three months later, the cross fader is bleeding on the left side (A) badly.

It doesn't happen on the right..  just the left.. (I can hear track B no matter what I do)

I have gone back and forth on setting the curve from "scratch" to "Smooth" to "Cut" with no success.  I have the latest firmware 1.07 and the latest drivers from the Pioneer website.  What is the deal?

I read somewhere that others had this issue and one person went back to an older firmware version.  Where can I get that?

DJ DRod

Guys, I need help asap! please...

Pulse

Have you accidentally disabled the crossfader assignment?

DJ DRod

did not disable.  as I mentioned earlier, the crossfader works but bleeds on the left side (A)

whenever I move to the left to play track A, I can still hear a little bit of track B.  In the opposite direction, moving from A to B, I don't hear track A, as it should be.

I have configured it for smooth, cut, etc..  same thing regardless of what setting it has.  Same thing happens on Rekordbox, Virtual DJ, etc..

and I already updated the firmware, drivers, Windows updates, etc..  all the software part of it has been done..

It is definitely a hardware issue.  Not sure why it's happening so soon.  Will be bringing it into service.

Have you adjusted the cut lag amount?

DJ DRod

yes..  only happens on one side..

Pulse

I understand, but if you adjust the lag distance even further does it eventually work as intended?

DJ DRod

I have played with the settings from high, down to the lowest where it can't go anymore.

You can tell there's something wrong cause if I force and hold the cross fader knob to the left, it cuts off the music as it should, but when I let go, it bleeds back.

it does not happen when I move the crossfader to the right.. (it does cut off the music from track A, as it should)

tried this in Rekordbox and VDJ, and played with the settings on each of those apps.  Same thing happens.

Sorry, not the lowest - it should be higher (making a larger dead zone).

DJ DRod

i did lowest to highest, everything in between..
