2 DJ's on 4 CDJ-2000's Using each DJ using their own USB Drive...

My question is, Can 2 djs on 4 CDJ 2000's all linked to same router link 2 Decks to one USB each?  I guess to break it down some more is, can DJ on Decks 1&2 be linked together, while decks 3&4 are linked to DJ #2's USB, and all wired to the same router?  So that each DJ has 2 dedicated decks to play their own music during a tag team set.

You can use a usb drive in each deck if you wanted, all 4 USB's could be accessed from any deck. So the answer is yes and you could any combination of decks One of you could be mixing a 3 deck mix as one of you mix in to take over on one deck and then control all 4

i would say yes it will work as you can select any usb from any player,

my personal opinion would be to say do not use link with such a large performance and use a usb stick in each player and take the element of risk out of the equation,

Link has never been 100% for me and has always caused Exxxx errors and i wouldn't trust it,

with 2 djs on 4 decks i would say its a fairly big display and would reduce chances of any issues in any way possible.

I have used Link with another DJ using USB, and another DJ using CD.

There were no problems at all.

Yes - and a great tip to avoid confusion - within rekordbox you can set the "color" for a device, if each DJ colors their device differently then you can easily identify which device is being browsed simply by the background color on the display of the 2000.
