Itunes tracks not importing
Hi, looking for help.
New to this as I've just purchased a DDJ-RB controller with access to Rekordbox. At this stage I'm only looking to import iTunes playlists or tracks, and they appear in the iTunes drop down on Rekordbox, however when I go to drag them into Rekordbox playlist file only the playlist name goes across.
In addition to this each track is shown as file format not supported by Rekordbox. I thought this was because they were not downloaded in iTunes, so when I downloaded them to iTunes they are no longer visible in Rekordbox.
I hope this makes sense and I hope someone can help.

Are your songs owned or from Apple Music?
The songs are from Apple Music. Is it the case that you cannot play any of the songs unless you've bought them?
Correct - you don't technically "own" those, they are either streamed or cached, but there is no physical file.
Ok thanks, looks like the only way I can use the tunes currently shown in iTunes is to buy them then. Are all streaming platforms with subscriptions, i.e. Spotify, the same?
There is currently no integration with any streaming services, so that wouldn't apply. Sorry.
i have the same problem, but is was wondering if there wasn't a special service that i could use instead of buying every song out of the itunes store.
