DDJ FLX4 - Crossfader Snapping to either Deck 1 or Deck 2

Hi there, 

Having an issue with my brand new DDJ FLX4 - when using Rekordbox or Serato Lite, the crossfade will snap to either Deck 1 or Deck 2, no fading. 

Once it get's just past the middle point, it will snap all the way to the opposite deck. 

I've messed with just about every setting and tried it on multiple computers. 

Is this a hardware issue, should i return it?

go to preferences  \ controller \ mixer \ crossfader curver

You want it right at 12 oclock, but it sounds like you have it at 5 oclock.
