ddj 1000
Hello, I am thinking about acquiring the ddj 1000 and for the information that I have, the mixer is analog and you can connect a cdj 2000 without cds of time code but my question is as follows, I have a cdj 1000 mk3 and a cdj 800 mk2 and before I get rid of them I can use them in the ddj 1000 without using cds of time code? Thank you.

The DDJ is a controller and doesn't require any other devices; it can control 4 decks.
If you want to use a CDJ-2000, or other CDJ / XDJ capable of controlling rekordbox, you can do so via HID / MIDI over USB without needing timecode.
cdj1000 and cdj 800 are CD players only and will require timecode cds to operate rekordbox via dvs contrtol.
later cdj units like 900 850 2000 etc have hid midi and therefore connect directly to the pc for control - thus no timecode / dvs is required
