Rekordbox Configurable Info Field Auto Population

I appreciate the developers have anticipated that filling out artist and album can be laborious by providing and auto-population feature on those fields, however, as I type the initially matched text remains appended to my input.

Perhaps removing the text as the user continues to type, then rematching as additional input is received to match any variations of the text.

Finally, an option to turn off the auto population in the preferences would be great.
