How many frames per second does record box support?
In the CDJ players the frame-by-frame search (during pause in cdj mode rotate jog wheel) allowed a precise cue point search. The timeline of the song was minutes : seconds : frames and usually each second was sub-divided in 75frames. One full rotation of the jog-wheel would translate in ~170frames.
Now with my DDJ-RB i am trying to set a cue point but the precision is terrible! So the question is how many frames does rekordbox dj support per second ? (it feels like jog wheel resolution at minimum tempo during pause is assigned to a second or so instead of being subdivided into 75 frames resolution).
Best,
Nick

Yes, redbook CD audio was 75frames per second, with newer CDJs being able to split that again for 150 frames of accuracy. With rekordbox, the CDJ-2000 was capable of 1 millisecond accuracy (for reference, 1 frame = 13.3ms), so roughly 6x more accurate than CD audio. But what you're asking isn't exactly about "frames per second," you're asking about the resolution of the jog. If you move your DDJ-RB slow enough, you are able to get extremely precise movement.
Where / how is it you're finding the precision to be "terrible"?
