pro-dj link with usb?
Hello,
I apologise if this is already covered in the manual I ahd a quick look, and have solved 3 other problems/questions I had in the last couple of days!
I got my 2nd cdj2000 today (djm-900 mixer), pro-dj link works great after having to plug the lan cable in again, however I do not plan on taking a laptop/pc on the road, can I have cdj #3 with a usb stick, then cdj #2 read rfom that usb stick with both cdj's hooked up via lan (hub) ??
Thanks
Tony

yes, up to 4 cdj's can read from 1 usb stick or SD card
Cool, what am I doing wrong then hmmm, I have them set up as player 2 and player 3, player 3 has the usb stick, player 2 can see the rekordbox on the computer, but how do I get it to access player 3's usb?
Never mind I got it working, dam lan cable was slightly out of the back again! Thanks.
yeah, some of the LAN cables that were shipped were flaky and if pulled a little, disconnect. you may be better off replacing them with good quality cables
I hear ya, I think I will, it was one that came with it. Though I think its easier taking 2 usb's as opposed to a hub, power cord, two lan cables and more pluggin in!
true but if you only use 2 cdj's, you don't need a hub, you can run one cable from one deck to another
Oh wow nice, cool tip, thanks!
no problem
Note - They are not called hubs, in this instance for LAN, they are called Switch :)
