Are you connecting via USB or ethernet?
I have tried it both. the eternet and the USB
I was asking because you should be using the ethernet connection, but the problem may be a firewall is blocking the communication.
Here's what you need to allow through the firewall (Windows or otherwise):
C:\program files\rekordbox version-number\edb_streamd.exe - TCP
C:\program files\rekordbox version-number\psvnfsd.exe - UDP
C:\program files\rekordbox version-number\psvlinksysmgr.exe - TCP
C:\program files\rekordbox version-number\rekordbox.exe - TCP
If you still have problems trying to configure the firewall, try disabling it to see if perhaps it's a setting or permission within that's blocking it. You may need to change your network type, see instructions here on how to do that (this link shows how to go Private > Public; you need to do the reverse, changing a possible Public network to a Private one, either Work or Home.) There separate configurations for each of the Private / Home networks and the Public networks.
Hi There,
Responding to this thread as I'm experiencing a similar issue in connecting my CDJ2000NXS players & DJM850 Mixer to my laptop (windows 10).
I am trying to connect them all to a USB hub via the USB port, and I can see the ASIO XDJ/CDJ driver in Rekordbox, but when I click on the connect to MIDI on the CDJ players - I get stuck in an infinite loop and nothing happens.
I had a look for any of the files you mentioned in the windows firewall, but couldn't see anything, and everything from Rekordbox was already allowed.
About the setup:
@RZ > If you have the 850, use that as your audio device for rekordbox... and update to 6.6.1.
