DDJ-SX2 won't update firmware
I've tried several times to update firmware and doesn't work. I installed Java and still nothing. Another thing, the scratching on the wheels don't work like it should.

@Joseph > Did you put the SX2 into firmware update mode before launching the JAR?
If on a Windows computer, did you run the updater by right-clicking and "Run as Administrator"?
As for the scratching, have you possibly disabled vinyl mode? Press SHIFT+SLIP to toggle the vinyl mode.
