CDJs with Traktor F1's
I'm thinking of integrating 2 Kontrol F1's with my CDJs and mixer.
I have a pair of 2000nxs and DJM 900nxs.
My question is where would the audio output from the F1's come from?
Do I route them to CH1 and CH4 of my mixer?
This wouldn't work and there would be no inputs in those channels.
Also, with my CDJs in HID mode, am I still able to change the Tempo Range (-/+)?

Lets assume you have:
CDJ1 to CH1
CDJ2 to CH2
then you just configure whichever deck you're controlling with the 2 F1's to the two free channels.
F1-1 to CH3
F1-2 to CH4.
And all these hook up to your Laptop with USB and I would assume you need a USB hub.
What I think you're confused about (if I am not misunderstanding you) is that the F1's don't have audio running through them. They are just controlling the software. It would be no different if you didn't have them and decided to map deck C and D to the mixers CH 3&4 and controlled them with your mouse.
Hope that answers it for you.
Basically, I'd like to have one F1 in CH1 and one F1 in CH4 of my mixer and controlled using Traktor Pro but I can't see how because there would be no audio inputs from the F1's to the mixer.
You don't need audio connections from the F1's, they're just controllers. Simply configure Traktor to output the audio to the DJM900NXS and there's nothing else to think about.
Hi Shªun_N,
Did you get this working correctly?
Cheers
