rekordbox is setting my FLAC tracks to 1 bar in front of my tracks????

Hi new to rekordbox,just bought a DDJ 1000, I'm trying to bring tracks in & was hoping for rekordbox to find the 1st beat but its picking 1 bar(4 beats) before that as my start point, I have 1000's of tracks to bring in and want a way to fit this as I've had CDJ's 1000 mk2 from when they came out & it was not a problem for them to pick out the 1st beat.. 

So how to I fix this???

1. cut every track so it starts on a beat

2. is it FLac files thats the problem????

3. waste a cue pad on setting the first beat?? really dont want to do this!

What do you all do to have this to work???

I have have searched hard and low to find a simple video on setting your first track up on rekordbox & its not to be found, they all asume you just want to load folders in & thats it, they think the software gets it perfect but its not he case.

I've had this DDJ for a week now & I have not got started as I had a Mac driver issue & I fixed it & posted the fix on this site to help others & now this is a massive issue if you cant load a track in and its at this 1st beat then we all may as well give up.
