Can't delete all of my itunes playlists from rekordbox

Hi, 
I would like to get rid of the linking between my itunes library and rekorbox. I'm now using rekorbox playlists and I don't want my itunes' playlists to show up in rekordbox anymore.
I'm running on mac osX 10.14.6 and I have Rekordbox 5.8.5.

I've tried everything I could think of..
- I took off the itunes library path from preferences > advanced > itunes in Rekorbox. 
- In Itunes, I deselected the option of "Sharing iTunes XML library with other applications"
- I then restored rekorbox changing the name of the files in the Application Support folder in my mac library.
- I then disinstalled rekorbox and deleted all of its files from my mac in order to do a fresh install.

No matter what I do, the itunes playlist previousle imported into rekorbox keep popping up.. Any idea on how to solve this?
