Xdj-rx2 search in midi mode?
Just received my xdj-rx2 today, tested with USB, Ipad etc, all works well. Mainly though I will be using Rekordbox in performance mode as I use mainly video. When I am in this mode though it appears that I can't search the collection in the laptop. I can browse my playlists, browse folders etc, but the search function and to be missing. Is it not possible? If it is in really disappointed as I was really hoping to keep the laptop closed and it out of the way. If course I van set up right crates but that doesn't help for requests.

No - there is no search from the XDJ-RX to rekordbox in performance mode.
That's a real blow. I didn't realise that when I bought it, thought I could search the rekordbox I'm performance mode. Will it be added in the future?
Or is it not possible with midi mode so can't be added?
No, sorry. The QWERTY keyboard is for onboard search only in stand-alone mode and there is no search function from the XDJ-RX2 to rekordbox while in performance mode.
