Export library error

I have a question,
I wanted to export my completerekordbox library including songs so i have a backup. if my pc crashes that i have a backup.
I did this with file, library , create backup library.
But this optie is not working?
Is this a known issue?

As a work around
I saw there is an option to move a the complete database to a external drive.
question is than does it actually move the database or does it make a copy?
so I always have a working library if this is also failing?
