DJM-800 MAKING LOUD WHITE NOISE WHEN FADERS ARE UP

I bought a DJM-800 mixer second hand from ebay a couple of months ago and have had no issues with it until now.

I've not messed around with the cables or moved the mixer, but as I've just turned it on to use it just now, when I move the volume faders of each channel up it makes really loud white noise through the speakers (even when the cdjs are turned off). 

Does anyone know what could have happened or whether I've accidentally changed something which would cause this to happen?

Only a temp fix, I've just plugged my RCA cables into the Rec ports rather than the master out as that seems to be where the issue is.
