Rekordbox Dj Not responding

Hi there i've been having a little trouble with rekordbox dj hanging on my imac i've updated it to the latest version and ive checkd my imac specs which are

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac19,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i3
Processor Speed: 3.6 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 8 GB

According to the specs rekordbox dj should be able to run smoothly.
