DDJ S1 issues- Popping sounds, non responsive channel controls, where's the "booth" control?
Has anyone experienced :
1)a loud popping, like a power surge, that can be heard through the speakers when using the DDJ S1?
2)that there is a non responsive area on the left and right channels between 3 and 7 that when u slide the volume higher or lower... it doesn't seem to have ANY effect on the sound (also evident on the led lights).
3) anyone realize there is no 'booth' control? How can Numark's N6 or 7 have both a 'zone' and a 'booth' and we get nothing?

1) No, but you should try adjusting your latency settings within the software to a higher setting.
2) If you don't like the curve, you can adjust it within the Itch settings.
3) If you want a booth control, use the other master output and run it to a pad-box, available for $30. Had Pioneer included it, you would have paid at least $30 more in the cost of the controller, so it's a wash if you have to buy one.
