Rekordbox on iDevice - Recommended Practices?
It seems that syncing Rekordbox with the iPad or iPhone Rekordbox app effectively prevents other apps from using or accessing those songs. Is that the case? And if I use iTunes to Sync those playlists and import into Rekordbox Mobile, what functionality will I lose by not syncing Rekordbox to Rekordbox mobile? Will I be able to update cues, beat grid information, play counts, etc.?
I have an iPad Air 128g that I use with other DJ apps and I just ordered a 128g iPhone. I would like to use my iPhone with Rekordbox Mobile with my entire music collection on it. Once all my library is on it, I will just be editing grids and cue points, and adding songs and playlists. On the iPad I must use the iTunes on the device for the other apps. I would like to have those songs available to other apps on the iPhone as well, but it's not mandatory. I bought the largest capacity iPhone so I could use the search in Rekordbox Mobile. Will there be a difference between the two sync methods on functionality, sync ability among platforms, and ability to delete certain files?

I stopped using RekordBox on my iPhone because of this
Had to load each song twice... once in music for listening and again in RekordBox, if I recall correctly.
It's been a while though so I'm not 100% sure if it's changed, but sounds like it hasn't which is a shame :(
Unfortunately it's a limitation imposed by Apple that does not allow Pioneer to use the audio from the Music section of the device - it must be duplicated in order to be handled within rekordbox mobile.
