DJM250 and DJM450 usb connection
I am thinking about purchasing the DJM250 or 450. I am going to be using it with Virtual DJ software running on a PC and using the Numark NDX800 controller/cd player. My understanding is that I have to connect the pc to the mixer, via usb cable. The mixer only has 1 usb connection. However, each channel of the mixer has the option of usb/phone/line input. My question is if I connect the usb cable from the computer to the mixer and choose the usb input on both channels, how does the mixer determine which input goes where.

You only need to connect the DJM via USB; you would configure the audio outputs of the mixer within Virtual DJ to use an external mixer, and it would send each virtual deck to a separate channel on the mixer. The mixer's channel selections would be set to USB.
