DJMv10 Xone DB4 integration

Has anyone got any ideas how i could use a Xone DB4 as an effects unit alongside a DJMV10 mixer?

I'm thinking if i could route via EXT1 or EXT2 into the DB4 and then be able to use it's far superior effects.

I absolutely love both mixers but the V10 wins the day due to the track preview facility, gorgeous faders etc but if i could apply the effects of the DB4 on top - heaven

any insight appreciated

Sorry, I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why you'd want to configure the two mixers together like that -- you could link them together to use the effects, but it wouldn't be pretty.

Hi Pulse,

Thanks for responding, what would you advocate being the best way of connecting the two mixers together? I currently have three CDJ's connected to the V10. How would you advise the DB4 be connected?

I just want to mix using the DJMV10 but be able to use the DB4 to route its delays into my mix running on the V10. I guess i need to route the master signal from the V10 into the DB4 and back so i can hit the DB4's efffects.

I appreciate this is a bit off the wall, the perfect mixer would be if the V10 had the effects engine of the DB4.

I prefer the rotary mode on the DB4, but if you want to use them together you might want to talk to this dude:

Oh, and the perfect mixers would be a DB3 and DB6 using the dLive internals and having a split cue button or switch on top :-)
